| Aurora is a 58ft luxury performance catamaran built to the highest standards. Aided by her spectra sails, carbon fiber mast and daggerboards, she cruises at high speeds with ease and comfort to get you to your next exotic destination.
Aurora can comfortably accommodate 6 guests in 3 cabins. The master cabin has a king size bed, shower and head. Another two guest cabins have a double beds, showers and en suite heads. Two cabins also convert to twins - perfect for family and singles groups. Aurora's heads are electric and the yacht is fully air conditioned through out. Your crew has a separate heads and shower. The saloon is beautifully arranged and provides 360 degree views of the seas and surrounds. Enjoy the ocean breezes and a cocktail in the ample, shaded cockpit area or move forward to the trampolines while under sail. Aurora’s helm stations are outside the cockpit area, making for a very large, open space for guests to lounge. | Description: | Captain Chadwick grew up in Charlotte, NC where he started sailing at age 13 on a Sunfish. From there he progressed to gain his Coast Guard Master's License. During his 21 years of experience he has sailed the East Coast and West Coast of the United States, Canada's Inside Passage, Mexico, Central America, the Caribbean and the Bahamas. In 2001, Chadwick and his girlfriend Wendy spent a year sailing Canada's Inside Passage and the West Coast of the United States and Mexico aboard their boat Cal Amis, a Cal 31. Chadwick enjoys sailing, surfing, snowboarding, rock-climbing, snorkeling and diving. Chef / Hostess Wendy grew up on a family farm in Kentucky where fresh fruits, vegetables and meats were part of daily living. She learned cooking southern foods from her Grandmother and Mother who were both homemakers and excellent at entertaining and hosting gatherings. She received her Masters Degree in Higher Education, Administration and Supervision and worked for the University of Tennessee and Oklahoma State University for eight years. Wendy has an eclectic menu that is inspired by her many travels and the areas that she has lived such has Italy, Morocco, the Pacific Northwest, Mexico and the Caribbean. Wendy enjoys sailing, cycling, rock-climbing, back-packing and snorkeling.
Guest Comments: Jonathan B. Chad and Wendy are happy, fun people to be around, so to have them as our Captain, Cook / First Mate combination was a holiday in its self. They know their way around a boat so every thing is pre organized and things are being done with out you noticing it. Aurora is a well appointed catamaran. Chad and Wendy keep it fresh, well ventilated and clean. Wendy's galley should have a star, she is a natural, we asked for food to be light and tasty and that's what we got; nothing was too much trouble. Bernie C. |
